We believe wholeheartedly that buying British products is better for our customers. We handmake all windows, doors and joinery in our workshop in Ringmer, East Sussex. When you place an order with us, your products will never be one size fits all – they will be bespoke, handmade especially for you. This gives our service a personal touch that other companies simply can’t offer.
We are proud to be part of the Made in Britain Campaign. This is an initiative that supports and promotes British-made products – many like-minded manufacturers are on board. When you buy from us, you know that you are doing your part to support British talent, British jobs and the British economy.
Handmade in Britain – the benefits for our customers
If other companies have said they can’t achieve what you would like, talk to us. Our production methods and craftmanship mean that we can often create bespoke doors, windows and joinery that will work perfectly for you.
Our Operations Director, Nathan, often says to customers ‘if it’s wooden, we can make it’. We make bespoke British products, tailored to you in our UK-based workshop. We are proud to contribute to the British economy and to use traditional manufacturing processes.
This has many benefits for you as our customer:
- British joinery methods are fundamentally different to those used elsewhere in Europe. They create products that perfectly complement typically British homes.
- Edwardian, Victorian and other period properties will benefit from our traditional doors, windows and joinery. They can be made to suit older buildings and retain character features.
- Products are made to measure and fit perfectly. Our fitters are also skilled carpenters and can easily overcome difficulties that can arise when working with older buildings.
Our workshop is based in Ringmer, East Sussex. We have a team of skilled carpenters and joiners working here to fulfil your orders and ensure that each and every window and door is exactly what you want it to be.
You’ll know where your products came from and will even know the person who crafted them by name. Our service is truly personal from beginning to end, involving you in the manufacturing process and creating something for your home that is completely bespoke.
If you would like to see your own doors, windows and joinery being made, please come down and visit the workshop! Customers are always welcome. The workshop is run by Trevor, who has worked there for 18 years. He is always happy to talk to our customers and to tell you more about the process.
