We are fully committed to our social responsibilities as a business and are active within our community. As a team, we focus on what we can do to help, on a local, national and global level.
As a business, we work with other organisations and help to support local initiatives wherever possible. We also take our role seriously within our industry as a whole, always striving to be a responsible business.
Helping to protect the environment
Environmental protection is essential, especially in our line of work. The industry as a whole is becoming more aware of its environmental impact, and what can be done to reduce this as much as possible. We are truly committed to working with others in our community to understand how we can improve processes and be as environmentally friendly as possible. It’s so important that we all understand the part we play in this and we are always looking for new ways to help protect the environment.
Here are some of our environmental initiatives – if you have any other propositions, we are always open to new ideas:
- Reducing energy consumption in the workshop and our head office
- Reducing waste and paper consumption
- Reducing fleet emissions
- Being actively involved with Carbon Smart. We aim to reduce our carbon footprint by 15% per employee in the next three years.
- Our local marketing leaflet distribution partners use up to 90% fewer vehicles than industry standard.
Lynn Amateur Boxing Club – fostering local talent
We are proud to sponsor the world-famous Lynn Amateur Boxing Club. This London-based club is widely recognised as the oldest continuing amateur boxing club in the UK, having been founded in 1892. During this time, the club has produced many champions, including British super heavyweight Danny Williams, who famously beat Mike Tyson in 2004. It isn’t just about the world champions though – the club is a support network for young, up and coming boxers from all walks of life. We are very pleased to provide continued sponsorship for this inspirational organisation that helps young people to realise their dreams and achieve their potential.
