Clarence Way is a charming residential street located moments away from the hustle and bustle of Camden.
For this home we were contracted to completely update the front elevation. All windows installed were matching traditional six over six design of the originals and everything was made in Utile hardwood. In conjunction with this work we removed and re-rendered the reveals.
The first floor sash windows were complete renewals, we replaced the entire box frame. This was done so we could use our highest specification of double glazed acoustic glass. The units were made up as follows:
8.8mm acoustic glass / 12mm Argon gas filled spacer bar / 4mm clear glass = 24.8mm acoustic double glazed units
For the single ground floor window we carried out our sash replacement service with standard double glazed glass. The new sashes installed were 45mm thick into which we used 20mm thick double glazed units.
In addition to the windows we also manufactured and fitted a new hardwood front door and frame. With this we installed Banham locks. As part of the job we rendered the reveals, cast a new concrete step and laid new paving.
