London’s Timber Window Specialists
We specialise in manufacturing and installing timber sash & casement windows, and external doors, mainly for domestic, period properties in London. It is all made in the UK in one of our three workshops. We have workshops in East Sussex, Hampshire and Warwickshire, with most of our installations being carried out in London.
A history of Wandsworth Sash Windows
WSW began life as a family-run business based on Lavender Hill in Clapham. We could see that London homeowners with period properties needed something the market wasn’t delivering – high quality joinery that is expertly installed by proper carpenters who know the complexities of period properties in London.
The company is still run by Matthew and Nathan, who took over from their father Tony in 2015. Since then, we have grown the company and opened workshops across the South East of England to cope with ever increasing demand.
This growing demand far exceeded our expectations and it quickly became apparent that we had outgrown our South West London showroom. We moved to a large unit in Sydenham, South East London and since then have opened a new showroom in Fulham.
An experienced, highly skilled workforce
We are now a thriving company with a large enough workforce to take on projects of any size. Our workshop staff like Jon (machinist), Shaun (bench joiner) and Dave (spray painter) have been with us for over 10 years.
Many of our installation staff have been with us since the very start, and are fully qualified with the independent certifications body FENSA.
Everyone across the company takes pride in their craft, ensuring a fantastic finish every time.
We like to undertake a site visit in order to gain an understanding of your requests and requirements. We do not provide prices in person and your surveyor will not sit on your sofa pressuring you to sign a contract – some customers have taken more than a year to get back to us, and that is absolutely fine! Post appointment, we will send a full estimate, including a drawing and all the information gathered at the appointment.
